TEDxMileHigh is pleased to offer you an exclusive invitation to join 20 renowned Colorado innovators and changemakers who will share their big ideas and explore solutions to the world's greatest challenges. Speakers include Jeremy Bloom, Olympian, Michael B. Hancock, City of Denver Mayor, Natalie Baumgartner, Chief Psychologist of RoundPegg, Chris Davenport, Adventure Skier, Jessica Posner, "Top World Changer Under 25," Adam Lerner, Director of MCA Denver, and Laura Merage, Founder of RedLine. We'll also have a couple surprises, including an internationally renowned singer songwriter and announcements of new TEDxMileHigh initiatives.
We also invite you to experience the inaugural TEDxMileHigh Exhibits Lounge, your place to connect and take in ideas. The Lounge includes food from Root Down, Linger, The Kitchen, and desert and coffee from Crave and Novo. It includes the Entrepreneurs Garage, which will showcase the founders and innovators ofcompanies fueling our Colorado lifestyle, the Think Like a Genius Zone, the TEDxMileHigh Book Store and our Project Zones, including iBrainstorm, which allows you to swipe your big idea through the air, as well as City 2.0 and Project Energy, which give you the chance to share your big ideas about the future.

The TEDxMileHigh 2012 (#TEDxMH12) theme "Risk & Reward" is inspired in part by a question posed during TEDxMileHigh 2011: What would you try if you had no fear? We often associate risk with danger, uncertainty and the unknown, but without risk we remain trapped in old paradigms. Taking risks allows us to think differently and venture into new territory. Most importantly, risk requires action and often comes with great reward.
Get your tickets early - seats are limited and the event will sell out - roughly 15% of tickets remain and are going quickly. TEDxMileHigh showcases Colorado's maverick thinkers and doers, big risk takers, big-time athletes, entrepreneurs and innovators, activists for the environment, humanitarians and many more extraordinary people who will each give the "talk of their life." This event will include presentations from 20 of the state's leading thinkers and doers who will stimulate, educate, and enrich as they take a concise 3-15 minutes to describe how they have accomplished something big and share the lessons they learned in the process. This will be an opportunity to engage in a discussion on transformation and innovation, as well as what it means to be an inspired citizen in a thriving Colorado community.
Doors open at 11:00 a.m. for the launch of the inaugural TEDxMileHigh Exhibits Lounge, which will showcase technology demonstrations, product launches, ideation zones as well as food, coffee and desert from Denver's best, including Root Down, Linger, Crave and Novo. Session I of the program commences at 1:00 p.m. sharp. During intermission from 3-4 p.m. attendees will have an opportunity to discuss the event and hit the Exhbiits Lounge. The final session from 4-6 p.m. will be followed by a cocktail reception from 6-8pm for all attendees in the Exhibits Lounge. Space is limited, so grab your ticket before they’re gone, gone, gone. |
